Woman Crush Wednesday: Elizabeth Olsen
Elizabeth Olsen might not share her famous sisters’ worldwide name recognition, but she’s definitely just as stylish. In an interview with Marie Claire, the burgeoning starlet said of Mary-Kate and Ashley’s style, “I just try and see what they do and copy them like the rest of the world does.” But in actuality, Elizabeth’s style is all her own. Her look is pure cool-girl, with a little bit of tomboy edge.
Below are Elizabeth’s five best looks ever:
Hollywood Foreign Press Association luncheon, August 2011
On a lesser mortal, that necklace would be over the top. But Elizabeth lets it shine by expertly pairing it with a long white top and a bold – but not too bold – orange skirt. She also wisely kept her hair and makeup minimal.
At the airport in Los Angeles, March 2012
How cute is that textured Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti coat? This is the perfect example of Elizabeth’s laidback downtime style. She totally makes us want to buy a wide-brimmed hat!
At a New York fashion week event, February 2013
Elizabeth never looks like she’s trying too hard, but she always looks chic. The bright pops of colour of her yellow coat and red lipstick totally amp up this outfit.
At the Costume Institute Gala, May 2014
This Miu Miu dress is definitely not for everyone, and it certainly landed her on some worst-dressed lists. However, we think it’s awesome! The frosty blue shade complements her pale complexion, and the dress as a whole is kind of figure skaterish, but in a good way!
At Comic-Con, July 2014
Elizabeth looks every bit the geeky genius in this cool, tomboy-style look. We adore that well-cut blouse!
We have a feeling Elizabeth would be a fan of our super-versatile Hopscotch Pant. These stretchy, wool-blend pants are the ultimate in off-duty cool. They’d pair perfectly with a statement coat and a wide-brimmed hat.
