It is time to give thanks to superstores, small stores, all stores, and our paychecks. It’s the discount season, a time to prepare for good ol‘ capitalist consumption. Things are great, stuff brings us enjoyment, things bring us excitement! But material goods have also become wasteful, and if you’re feeling guilty, know that you are not alone.
But let’s take a step back for a minute. Your winter coat will at some point deteriorate (trend causality or otherwise), your moisturizer has an expiration date, and Christmas gifts aren’t going to buy themselves. By shopping now, you’re eliminating future stress! Instead of scavenging for Christmas presents you get to enjoy the holiday. Here is a list of things you can activities this leaves room for:

As for Cyber Monday, beauty brands, fashion and lifestyle brands go all out. To prepare, check deals of your favorite brands. On Sunday, open all website tabs, set your alarm early for Monday – and hit your Cyber Monday purchases. That way you buy EXACTLY what you need, leaving you the rest of the day to get what you want brings you should budget yourself for the latter. Speaking from experience. Credit card debt is real.

Newsletters are a surefire way of getting to know what the latest deals are without having to make an effort. If you sign up, you can also access sign-up promos. Ka-ching! So visit out your favorite brands, and start checking your inbox a week in advance. Alternatively, set up Google Alerts! Another way to access promo codes is with Retail Me Not Genie.
3. STOCK UP ON BEAUTY ESSENTIALS
Kiehl’s has a 20% off everything if you use the code: cmonday. High-end Violet Grey offers shoppers $15 off any purchase of $100, and $50 off $250, $100 off $500 and $250 off $1,000. GlamGlow offers 30% off online. Zoya offers 70% off holiday sets with the code: GIFT and free shipping on orders over $30 when you use the code YAY. 4. PINK MARTINI CLOTHING

Last year Amazon had three times as many Cyber Monday deals as the next highest retailer. There’s free shipping for all! For those who are well acquainted with Alexa, Cyber Monday starts on Sunday, November 26th at 17:00. Prime members get a 30-minute early access to all Lightning deals. You can also join waitlists, Amazon lets you know when the item becomes available. Other than that you can create your own lists to organize your shopping day. Check out Amazon’s great magazine deals up to 85% off! Get magazines like InStyle, Allure, Eating Well, the New Yorker, Vanity Fair, Wired, Vogue, the family handyman, theEconomist, Bon Appétit, Traveler, or National Geographic.
7. APPLE SALE
Check out Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy and eBay – they’re all going to have apple sales. Rumor has it that the iPhone 8 is going to be discounted on Black Friday or Cyber Monday. Other than that, many retailers have already started to provide discounts for Apple products, excluding the iPhone 8.
8. BOOK YOUR TRAVELS
Go to Redtag for the latest Cyber Monday deals, go to Skyscanner for more deals and data on the best time. If you feel like the cold is getting to you, take advantage of travel websites. If you’re prone to using Kayak or Skyscanner, give it a search on Cyber Monday. It’s a good time to take a break from the cold and go on a trip.
